WATCH LIVE: Hurricane Zeta moving through South Mississippi HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Strong wind gusts continue as Hurricane Zeta moves through south Mississippi. The National Weather Service in Jackson reported the center of Zeta was moving into southern Forrest County around 8:40 p.m. A Tornado Watch is currently in effect for Wayne, Greene, Perry, George, Stone and Pearl River counties. Casinos announce closures ahead of Hurricane Zeta MGN Image The Mississippi Gaming Commission announced it is not mandating that casinos close for Hurricane Zeta, but did discourage people from visiting the gaming halls. “We have asked the properties to discourage patrons or staff from arriving at, or departing from the property during inclement weather and to discourage anyone from leaving the property until conditions allow for safe travel,” MGC told the  Sun Herald . - Advertisement - The commission will continue to monitor conditions and make recommendations as needed.
