Packers RB Aaron Jones injures calf, listed as questionable GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The   Packers   might get an early glimpse at what life would be like without   Aaron Jones . The running back, who is in the final year of his contract and headed for a big payday either in Green Bay or somewhere else, was a late addition to the injury report on Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game at the  Houston Texans  because of a calf injury. Jones said he felt his calf tighten in practice on Thursday. He did not get any on-field work Friday. He was among five players listed as questionable on a lengthy injury report that also included three other starters as doubtful -- left tackle  David Bakhtiari  (chest), cornerback  Kevin King  (quad) and safety  Darnell Savage  (quad). Both of Seattle's quarterbacks,  Russell Wilson  and  Geno Smith , are friends with Brown, worked out with him during the offseason and have remained in touch with him about the idea of bringing him to Seattle, sources said. The organization is intrigued by the idea of matching Brown with an MVP candidate like Wilson in an offense that already is as potent as any in the league. However, other teams also have expressed interest, and Seattle and Brown have not started official contract talks, making a Seattle match not a lock. Dolphins bench Ryan Fitzpatrick for rookie QB sooner than expected The Dolphins will start Tua Tagoaviloa coming out of their Week 7 bye,  according to ESPN's Adam Schefter .  Tagovailoa made his NFL debut in Week 6 against the Jets in mop-up duty, completing both his late passes for nine total yards. After being selected No. 3 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa has watched-and-learned from veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick while Tagovailoa finished his recovery from a 2019 dislocated hip.
