One of the greatest hockey players of all time took a step into politics on Friday, taking out a full-page ad in the New Hampshire Union Leader to endorse Donald Trump for the 2020 US Presidential election. Notably, Orr doesn’t reside in New Hampshire, but in Florida. Instead of taking out the ad in his home state or in Massachusetts, where he spent the bulk of his hockey career with the Boston Bruins, he took out the ad in a state with a closer battle that would still have plenty of nostalgic Bruins fans.
