The 2020 Billboard Music Awards  are the latest to go down amid the coronavirus pandemic, meaning viewers should expect a very different show compared to years past. The show was initially supposed to air live from Las Vegas back in April, but was pushed to October -- and the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles -- due to COVID-19 concerns. Returning for her third time as host,  Kelly Clarkson  is emceeing the show and kicked it off with a performance of Whitney Houston's "Higher Love" featuring Pentatonix and Sheila E. Other performers throughout the evening included Alicia Keys, John Legend, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, Brandy, Ty Solla $ign and Doja Cat. Garth Brooks is being honored with the elite ICON Award, presented to him by the one and only Cher ... while Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms presented Killer Mike with the first ever Billboard Change

Brandy Performs ‘Borderline,’ ‘No Tomorrow, Pt. 2,’ And ‘Almost Doesn’t Count’ At The 2020 BBMAs Getty Image After years of staying under the radar, especially in terms of her music,  Brandy  came back stronger than ever in 2020 thanks to the release of her seventh album,  B7 . The album was her first full-length release since her 2012 album,  Two Eleven , and saw her working with notable names including  Chance The Rapper  and Daniel Caesar. Bringing the album and a pair of tracks from it to the big stage, Brandy kicked off her set at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards with an ethereal performance of “Borderline” before inviting  Ty Dolla Sign  on-stage to perform their newly-released collab, “No Tomorrow, Pt. 2.” Reaching further back into her discography to close out her set, Brandy ended her performance with “Almost Doesn’t Count” from her 1998 album,  Never Say Never . . @4everBrandy  &  @TyDollaSign  deliver chemistry in  #BBMAs  performance of new single, “No Tomorrow, Pt. 2.”
