Payback for December Last Week: September 60s Next Week Nothing to Fear In Today's Weather Report "The wise man in a storm prays to God, not for safety from danger, but for deliverance from fear" wrote Ralph Waldo Emerson. Unless you've been living in a cave (where can I sign up?) you realize the next few weeks will be challenging for our state and our nation. I'm trying to tune out the noise and hold up good people doing amazing things. They don't make the news as often - but they're out there. After a premature taste of December last week, with few exceptions the next 1-2 weeks will offer relief from premature ice and wind chill. No big storms are on the horizon, but a weekend clipper will pull another blustery shot of chilly air into Minnesota Sunday. A Pacific breeze returns next week with a run of 50s. 60 degrees is not out of the question. You may soon run out of excuses for not raking the yard.
