Kanye West responds to Issa Rae's 'SNL' joke: 'I'm praying for her' (CNN) Kanye West is speaking out after being mentioned in Issa Rae's  "Saturday Night Live" skit. The "Insecure" actress played a lawyer for the NAACP appearing on Kenan Thompson's made-up morning talk show, "Your Voice Chicago," about the upcoming presidential election. In the first moments of the skit, Rae said she would be "voting for everybody Black" -- a play on her viral comment at the 2017 Emmy Awards that she was "rooting for everybody Black." Seconds before the end of the skit, Rae quickly got the last word by responding to Thompson's mention of Kanye West with, "Kanye? F him!" along with an eye roll. Home Improvement Star Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested for Allegedly Strangling His Girlfriend Actor Zachery Ty Bryan faces charges of "strangulation, assault in the fourth degree and interfering with making a report," E! News can confirm. Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic Home Improvement  alum  Zachery Ty Bryan  is in police custody for allegedly strangling his 27-year-old girlfriend. The 39-year-old actor was arrested and taken to the Lane County Jail in Eugene, Ore. on Saturday, Oct. 17, E! News can confirm. A spokesperson for the Eugene Police Department tells E! News Bryan faces charges of "strangulation, assault in the fourth degree and interfering with making a report." According to the spokesperson, law enforcement was "dispatched to report of a physical dispute at a north Eugene home after neighbors called." (Joan Marcus) Award-winning actor Anthony Chisholm, a familiar face to Center Theatre Group patrons and a performer celebrated for his work in a number of August Wilson productions, has died at 77. Chisholm’s passing was confirmed via a statement from his talent agency. “The Katz Company is saddened to announce the passing of our longtime friend and client, Tony nominee, Anthony Chisholm. Affectionately called ‘Chiz,’ he was an actor and storyteller like none other, embodying loyalty, devotion, and compassion to his artistry,” the statement said. No cause of death was given. (CNN) Rhonda Fleming, a film star in the 1940s and 50s known as the "Queen of Technicolor," has died, according to her assistant. She was 97. Fleming died October 14 in Santa Monica, California, from aspiration pneumonia,   her assistant Carla Sapon said. She had been in the hospital about a week, Sapon said. Fleming was discovered by an agent while running to school, with her first top-featured role being in Alfred Hitchcock's "Spellbound." This role led to her starring in "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" with Bing Crosby. She went on to star in more than 40 films during Hollywood's Golden Age of filmmaking. ‘Home Improvement’ Actor Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend Mega Agency Actor  Zachery Ty Bryan  has been arrested. Bryan, known for playing Brad Taylor in the Tim Allen-led sitcom  Home Improvement , was arrested on Friday in Eugene, Oregon for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. AP reports  that Eugene Police officers arrived at a North Eugene apartment Friday following report of a physical dispute, where they found the 39-year old actor and his girlfriend. Bryan has been charged for three offenses, the  Lane County Sheriff’s Office shares . In addition to strangulation, the actor has been charged for fourth-degree assault and interfering with making a police report.
