Netflix Assassin’s Creed Live-Action Has been Confirmed, Other Adaptations Also Coming The deal between Ubisoft and Netflix will also include animated and anime series. The next instalment in the gaming series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will launch November 10 Netflix will bring Assassin's Creed to live-action, a second chance after the universally disliked movie starring Michael Fassbender in 2016. The live-action series will be based on Ubisoft's long-running videogame franchise that began with its eponymous first instalment back in 2007. Ubisoft announced this along with animation and anime adaptations as part of a deal with Netflix. Ubisoft made the  announcement  on its website yesterday.
