WTOC Interview: How John Ossoff would serve Georgia * (Source: WTOC) SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -Georgia’s Senate Race between Republican Incumbent David Perdue and Democratic Challenger Jon Ossoff may be one of the most talked-about races on the ballot. WTOC sat down with Ossoff most about how this campaign season has gone and how he plans to serve Georgians if elected. John Ossoff says he investigates organized crime, political corruption, and war crimes. He says his campaign, like this year, has been defined by the coronavirus pandemic. “Something that has changed how we campaign but most importantly has been such a burden for Georgia families, has taken such a tragic human toll and has touched everybody that we know," Ossoff said. “We’re in the middle of a national crisis and my campaign has been focused on presenting a vision on how we end this crisis so that we can recover and rebuild.” If elected, Ossoff says his day one plan will focus on COVID-19 recovery, rushing emergency eco

Within the opening moments of a presidential town hall with NBC News, Trump  repeated the false statement that masks don't work 85%  of the time: "People with masks are catching it all the time," Trump said. Of whether he had a coronavirus test on the day of the first debate with his opponent Joe Biden, he told NBC's Savannah Guthrie: "Possibly I did, possibly I didn't." And a time when many Americans are looking to him for empathy after more than 217,000 people have died, he boasted about the excess mortality rate in the United States. Me

In a morning address to business leaders, he expressed puzzlement that they would even consider supporting his Democratic challenger, Joe Biden, arguing that his own leadership was a better bet for a strong economy. Later, the president held his third campaign rally in three nights, this time in Iowa, a state he won handily in 2016 but where Biden is making a late push. Trump claimed to be leading in the mo
