7-Seat Tesla Model Y Production & Delivery Schedule, & 6 Top Competitors In response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s tweet today about the  Tesla Model S price dropping to $69,420 , the person representing Tesla Owners Silicon Valley on Twitter asked about progress on the 7-seat Tesla Model Y. Elon responded that production starts next month and deliveries will begin in early December, which is basically right on schedule with much earlier forecasts from Elon about the 7-seat Tesla Model Y timeline. The anticipated drop marks the second time this week Tesla has cut the price for the high-end sedan, following a 4% cut of the Model S’s price in the United States on Tuesday to $71,990. Tesla shares closed 3.3% higher at $461.30 on Wednesday and were little changed after hours. The company also on Tuesday reduced by 3% the price of its Model S in China, where it had previously cut the starting price of its Model 3 sedan. “The gauntlet has been thrown down!   (CNN) First lady Melania Trump   posted a personal essay on the White House website  detailing her experience battling Covid-19, which she tested positive for approximately two weeks ago. The first lady also revealed hat her son, Barron Trump, 14, who the White House publicly confirmed at the time had tested negative, eventually tested positive for the virus, a diagnosis the White House did not share. She has now tested negative for the virus, as has her husband, President Donald Trump, according to his doctors. "Naturally, my mind went immediately to our son," she wrote. Barron Trump initially tested negative after she and the President contracted Covid. But the teenager was tested again and turned up positive. Trump says her son had "no symptoms," and has now tested negative.
