Am I Eligible for an MPOWER Loan?

You could be eligible if you are:

An undergraduate or graduate student within 2 years of graduating or about to begin a 2 or 1-year program.

An international student, DACA recipient, a U.S. citizen, refugee or asylum-seeker.

MPOWER borrowers are eligible for the following discounts:

1) 0.50% rate discount by repaying your loan through automatic withdrawal,

2) an additional 0.50% discount for making 6 consecutive on-time payments while repaying your loan through automatic withdrawal,

3) and another 0.50% discount for reporting proof of graduation and employment.

The figures provided are estimates calculated using a loan term of 134 months and one of the following discounted interest rates, dependent on your degree and citizenship: 6.49% (7.52% APR), 8.49% (9.56% APR), 10.49% (11.59% APR), or 12.49% (13.63% APR).
