City edge out a key victory over the Reds on the road
FT: #NYCFC outlast Toronto 1-0 in a game that wasn't as closed as the score would suggest. City created chance after chance, culminating in Jesus Medina putting the team ahead early in the second half. It's a big win over a team that has constantly given the Blues trouble.

88’: Ibeagha on for Taty. Tactical change for sure.
81’: Cacha Acevedo comes on for Keaton Parks.
77’: Taty misses a tap-in. He needs to work on his left foot if he’s to be a viable striker.
74’: Jesus Medina looked to have a golden opportunity for a brace. But his shot is comically off the mark.
Since the goal, things have kinda settled down for both teams. But City still don't look like they're content with one goal. And rightfully so. TFC have had their share of chances. #NYCFC

54’: Taty almost makes it 2-0 on the header, but can’t guide it past Westberg.
51’: GOOOOOOAAALLL!!! City finally get their goal!
Taty Castellanos unleashes a strike from outside of the area. Toronto’s keeper is qual to it, but Jesus Medina sneaks into the box unmarked to tap in the rebound and give NYCFC the 1-0 advantage early in the second half. 1-0 NYCFC!
We’re back with the second half. Let’s see if City can pull ahead.
HT: #NYCFC and TFC are scoreless at the half. City have created tons of chances and are dominating, but have yet to hit the back of the net.

29’: NYCFC is still knocking, but still no answer. They’re creating chances in abundance but can’t find that finishing touch.
23’: Another big chance from City. Keaton plays Taty in behind on a great diagonal ball, but Taty can’t sneak in a shot and is denied by the keeper.
21' #NYCFC force a turnover at the back, but can't capitalize. City has definitely been the better team. But they need to start testing the keeper.

19’: Keaton Parks has a wasteful attempt after great hold-up play. The midfielder definitely wants that shot back.
8’: Chanot makes a brilliant block on Morrow! City’s defense were almost caught sleeping there.
1’: Almost a perfect start for NYCFC! Maxi buries an assist from Gary Mackay-Steven, but GMS is offside on the run in behind.
We’re off in CT! Can NYCFC make it two straight wins?
Rosters are out! As expected, Taty Castellanos and Maxime Chanot return to the starting eleven after missing the Montreal matchup due to yellow card suspension. Ismael Tajouri-Shradi is still out while recovering from COVID-19.
