Cats have mixed reviews on Mario Kart Live
Are cats Mario’s ultimate boss battle?
Humans are loving Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, the mixed-reality Mario Kart game that turns your house into a race track. The Nintendo Switch game, paired with a remote-controlled kart driven by Mario or Luigi, brings the race to the living room — and honestly, it just looks fantastic. But there is one demographic that’s not enjoying this neat new toy: cats.
Cats do, of course, love chasing and attacking things — and at first glance, it feels like a toy a cat might love. However, the karts are controlled by humans, who are seemingly enjoying turning the tables, and chasing their cats around with Mario and Luigi. Cats, the ferocious beasts they are, are no match for the karts, however: I’ve seen plenty of clips online where cats chase and pounce on Mario and Luigi. It’s fantastic, and I’m here to share some of those clips with you.
Most of the time, Mario and Luigi don’t stand a chance.
