Dodgers vs. Braves score: Live MLB postseason updates as NLCS kicks off in Texas
The best-of-seven NLCS starts at Globe Life Field in Arlington -- and fans will be in attendance
Monday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves opened their best-of-seven National League Championship Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The No. 1 seed Dodgers knocked off the Padres in three games in the NLDS while the No. 2 seed Braves swept the Marlins in three games. Both the Braves and Dodgers are 5-0 in this postseason. Here's how you can watch Game 1 on Monday.
The Dodgers sent out their ace Walker Buehler to start the NLCS opener. Buehler, 26, has made starts in each of the Dodgers' first two rounds of the postseason, but he's been dealt with blister issues on his right index finger over the last several weeks, which have kept him from pitching beyond the fourth inning. The Braves have Max Fried on the mound for Game 1. In his last start, Fried allowed four runs over just four innings in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Marlins. Fried, 26, emerged as a NL Cy Young candidate before lower back spasms sidelined him for nearly two weeks in September.
CBS Sports will be providing live updates throughout the night. You can find those below.
