Actress Lily James spotted kissing married co-star Dominic West
Photographers captured West stroking James’ hair as the pair lunched in the city after reportedly spending two nights at the Hotel De La Ville.
In the images, published by Daily Mail, West was seen leaning in for a kiss and a hug before whisking James away on an electric scooter to tour the sights.
West, 50, starred as Jimmy McNulty in The Wire (2002–2008) and Noah Solloway in The Affair (2014–2019).
James, 31, is best known for her role as Rose on Downton Abbey and Disney’s live-action version of Cinderella.
They are currently working together on an adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s novel The Pursuit Of Love for BBC One and Amazon.
West married Irish landscape designer Catherine FitzGerald in 2010.
They have four children together, daughter Dora, 14, son Senan, 12, son Francis, 11, and daughter Christabel, seven.
West is also father to 20-year-old daughter Martha from a previous relationship.
Fitzgerald is said to be “shocked, heartbroken and devastated” by the photos in which West is not wearing his wedding ring.
“Catherine has been trying to speak with Dominic but he’s not answering his phone,” the Sun quoted an unnamed friend as saying.
“She’s totally shocked because she didn’t know anything was going on. They were very much together, so this is completely out of the blue.
“She thought they had a good marriage and now it’s probably over.”
