'Over and out': Silver Ferns great Laura Langman calls time on netball career
Silver Ferns great Laura Langman has announced her retirement from all netball.
Langman, who retired from the international game back in August, has most recently been playing – as captain – for the Sunshine Coast Lightning in Australia’s Super Netball domestic competition.
”Thanks for having me Netball whānau, it has been a blast,” Langman wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Over and out.”

“To be apart of a team is a gift. Teammates see you at your best, your worst and all the times in between. These are the memories that make the journey so special,” Langman wrote.
A veteran of, a Silver Ferns record, 163 tests, Langman said she has no idea what is next for her the unknown gives her excitement and goosebumps.
The 34-year-old is a two-time Commonwealth Games gold medal winner (2006, 2010), Netball World Cup champion (2019), and title winner on both sides of the Tasman with the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic (2005-06 and 2012), and the Lightning in 2017.
