Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump's daughter and adviser, is returning to Arizona to help solidify support among Republicans and independent voters for her father and Republicans down-ballot.
She will headline a moderated discussion at 4 p.m. Sunday in Phoenix about the administration's policies and how they have affected Arizonans, particularly key constituencies crucial to Republicans' hopes of holding the state red.
No details about the venue were available.
Ivanka Trump's return to battleground Arizona marks her second this year: in September, she joined Gov. Doug Ducey for a roundtable with local business leaders and spent time visiting volunteers at a local Latinos for Trump Victory Office.
According to the campaign, she has "consistently tested negative for COVID-19 over the last two weeks and out of an abundance of caution, has been working from home this week." The president remains at the White House, recovering from his bout of the virus.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, Arizona is leading the Great American Comeback for the country," Ivanka Trump said in a written statement to The Arizona Republic.
"The enthusiasm we are seeing for President Trump and his America First Agenda is at an all time high and I am excited to once again be back in this great state to highlight the President's accomplishments during these past four years.”
Ivanka Trump's visit will come three days after Vice President Mike Pence made yet another appearance in Arizona on Thursday, the same day Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden made joint appearances with Sen. Kamala Harris, his vice-presidential running mate.
