Beyoncé Reveals ‘This Is My Park’ Latest Ivy Park Collection With Adidas
“This is my Park.”
With that statement, Beyoncé and adidas have revealed the second iteration of their partnership with the adidas x IVY PARK collection. Titled, “Drip 2, this time around, the collection will include apparel featuring several pieces with inclusive sizing and gender-neutral performance gear, footwear, and accessories. The latest collection will be available exclusively on adidas.com and the adidas app on Oct. 29, while making its debut at retail on Oct. 30.
According to the adidas website, Ivy Park is inspired by Inner Beauty, Strength, and Resilience. “Adidas X IVY PARK pushes the boundaries of traditional performance wear to deliver a collection that is effortlessly functional, and always inclusive.”
Beyoncé, who is the sole owner of IVY PARK, is also one of the first Black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.
The adidas x IVY PARK collection will be available online at adidas.com on Oct. 29 and in select stores from Oct. 30. Items are available in sizes XXXS – 4X. Prices for apparel will range from $25 for accessories to $200 for outerwear.
Last year, adidas and Beyoncé introduced the first adidas x IVY PARK collection, which went on sale in stores and online earlier this year on Jan. 18, 2020. The partnership with adidas served as the basis for Beyoncé to relaunch Ivy Park, the athleisure company she co-created and is now the sole owner of after buying out Topshop owner and billionaire Phillip Green in November 2018.
“It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner,” Beyoncé said last year in a press release. “My team has worked hard with the adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly.”
