4 reasons why you shop 'bluff'

Many people said that shopping is the "fun", helping to temporarily forget the problems of life. But according to Brightside, there are other reasons.

Want to impress others

Resources are limited, while according to Darwin's theory of evolution, people are constantly competing, demanding as much as possible, for their own good lives. Once all our basic needs have been met, spending money will be devoted to other things. This leads to expressing their wealth and importance to the rest of the world, by buying more and more things they don't need.

So what should I do to change it?

Do not forget that "feeling comfortable" is better than "looking good". For example, an expensive shirt sometimes does not give you the same comfort in the long run as spending that money to rest, going to a spa for a session to reduce stress, to get yourself ready for the challenges ahead.

Envy of those who have more than themselves

We humans like to compare ourselves to those around us. This leads to us sometimes buying things just because our friends have it too, not because we really need it. In fact, we are more selfish than ourselves willing to admit. We are always looking to grow our "personal kingdom" by shopping more.

So what should I do to change it?

Happiness really lies in the little things. Buying a lot is not likely to be equal to a lot of happiness. The thrill and joy of receiving new items will soon be gone, and you will remember more about simple dinners, or fun conversations with friends and family. Science proves that meaningful relationships can increase your longevity rate.

Victims of marketing, advertising

Marketing professionals always have tricks to "pickpocket" consumers, making you willing to spend money on products, even if you do not really know them well. A commonly used tip is to allow consumers the opportunity to try the product. The moment when a buyer holds a new product in their hands can create psychological ownership, making people more likely to make a purchase.

So what should I do to change it?

Think carefully about what you need, before you go shopping. People tend to shop more when they go directly to the store and buy less when shopping online. So this doesn't happen, make a list of what's needed and buy only the things on that list.

Feeling uncontrollable in his life

The feeling of being physically possessed always makes us feel more secure. This is true, in relation to our basic needs such as having a roof, vehicles... Since then, we are often deceived that owning more will be safer. The fact that it can give you a sense of security in a short period of time, but is less stable and potentially more risky than we thought.

So how to change?

Learn to live "enough." It is advisable to encourage yourself against the desire to own more than what you can consume. Before making a purchase, ask yourself why you bought it, for what?

Boring

The most common reason why we buy things is because of boredom. When we have nothing to do, when we have no purpose in life, we simply desire something new to spices for our day, and shopping can meet that need.

So how to change?

Living purpose is extremely important, and using your time and money for important things will create a better future for both you and others. Therefore, it is recommended to aim for meaningful activities, such as tourism, volunteering ... to have a more meaningful life.

Love and Monsters

‘Love and Monsters’ Review: Dylan O’Brien Leads a Fun and Imaginative Post-Apocalyptic Romp “Love and Monsters” is the rarest kind of movie these days: A funny, original, genre-mashing adventure made with big studio money. “Love and Monsters” Michael Matthews’ “ Love and Monsters ” is the rarest kind of movie these days: A fun, imaginative, genre-mashing adventure that was made with a modest amount of big studio money and destined for a theatrical release despite not being adapted from a comic book or carried by a major star. Well, maybe “destined” isn’t the right word, as a certain pandemic (you know the one) came along and compelled Paramount to scuttle a multiplex release in favor of a VOD play. And while it might be legally accurate to say that “Love and Monsters” isn’t based on pre-existing material, it couldn’t be more obvious that it was conceived by someone who saw “Zombieland” on TV one night and thought to themselves: “I could do it...
